February 1 , 2012: New game - Sleepers

A board game for 2 players by Stephen Tavener

In Sleepers, you are the leader of a resistance network operating in occupied France during World War II. Your primary mission is recruit a network of operatives working throughout the country; failing that, eliminating the other networks which are interfering with your own would allow you to build your network without interference. When first recruited, agents are face-down and inactive (sleeper agents); later in the game, they may be activated to perform some task (active agents). The unqualified term ‘agents’ applies to both active and sleeper agents. Tiles in hand or the bag are merely tiles, bribes and blackmail material which can be used to recruit agents.

Components:
1 hexagonal board of 61 hexes (France map), 30 Agents for each player (see piece summary), 2 foam racks, carrying case.

November 28 , 2011: Discounts!

I've found two ways to avoid the abusive paypal fees. One is sending the money as a personal transfer. The other is using 'Mass Payment'.

So I can make a discount of up to 1 € per game by using one of these. If you wish to benefit from this please email me instead of placing an order directly on my site, as I'll use a separate account.

I've added this information to my 'orders' page on my site, too.

Thx!

November 21 , 2011: New game - Feed the Ducks

A strategy game for 2 to 4 players, by Néstor Romeral Andrés

Three old men and a small child all sit around a small duck pond, tossing breadcrumbs into the water.  With each ripple from a crumb, ducks race toward the new treat.  (They never actually get the snack, due to the wily fish just below the surface, but it doesn't dissuade them from trying!)  Passersby watch the scene for a moment, then smile, charmed by these four people idling away their time. Little do they realize that these crafty individuals actually have a standing wager:  Each has chosen a color of duck in the pond as his own, and whoever can gather his ducks into a group first gets to choose the adventure for the day!

COMPONENTS;

Basic set (2-player): 12 white ducks, 12 black ducks, 1 white counter, 1 black counter, board, carrying case.

Expansion to 3-4 player game: 8 red ducks, 6 blue ducks, 1 red counter, 1 blue counter.

A board game for 2 players by Vincent Everaert.

Tattoo Turtles is a variant of Tortuga by the same designer. In Tattoo Turtles each player controls 8 turtles on his side of the board. The winner is the one who will send one of his turtles to the opponent's side. Turtles can be moved one step forwards, or jump over other turtles.
