May 16 , 2012: New game - UNITY
A strategy board game for 2 to 3 players by Néstor Romeral Andrés.
UNITY is a board game for 2 to 3 players, in which each player strives to unite his pieces… at any cost. By sacrificing the right pieces at crucial moments, you can shatter your opponents' groups as they coalesce, or eliminate a pesky splinter group of your own pieces — anything to create unity.
In UNITY, each player’s pieces start dispersed on the board. Your goal is to create a single group of connected pieces of your colour. UNITY was initially designed for 2 players, with the neutral pieces being just unmovable discs, but was later adapted to accommodate a 3rd player.
There are 2 editions:
Deluxe Edition: It comes in a new format. The board size is 6 hexes per side (so you can play with 2 sizes: 5 hexes per side or 6 hexes per side). It includes 108 white walls, a laser-cut 8mm thick 'ice' acrylic board, 90 ring-shaped laser-cut acrylic pieces in 3 colours (green, orange and purple), 90 asterisk-shaped laser-cut acrylic pieces in 3 colours, one counter of each colour and a briefcase. No additional pieces are needed. You can see a size comparison between both editions below. The briefcase is big enough to keep some other nestorgames, too.
UNITY Deluxe Edition is the first board game in history that can only be purchased with Bitcoin. If you want a copy please email me. Thank you!
Basic Edition: Produced in nestorgames' format 1. The board size is 5 hexes per side. It includes 54 black 'walls', 30 ring-shaped foam pieces in 3 colours (green, orange and purple), 30 asterisk-shaped foam pieces in 3 colours, one counter of each colour, a board (pad) and a carrying case. Additional sets of pieces can be purchased here in order to try different setups (but not needed for playing the basic game).
April 25 , 2012: New game - Crosshairs
A game of WW1 aerial combat by Stephen Tavener.
Crosshairs straddles the line between abstract strategy game and wargame.
It captures the essence of a WW1 aerial dogfight in a game with no random elements or hidden elements; so hang up your assumptions at the door, and go along for the ride. Combat is simple – if a plane is within line of sight of two enemy planes, it is shot down. You lose if you are reduced to one plane, and can therefore no longer shoot the enemy.
The base game includes components for a 2-player game. If you wish to add more players you'll need the expansion (one per additional player).
COMPONENTS
Base game (2 players): Board (2 pads), 16 foam clouds, 40 altitude rings (laser cut 8mm 'ice' acrylic), 2 small plastic boxes, 5 red biplanes, 5 green biplanes, carrying case.
Expansion (per extra player): 5 biplanes (orange or yellow), 20 altitude counters, carrying case. Please indicate colour if you purchase one set only.
Note: The biplanes come unassembled and you will need some glue to assemble them. If you want me to assemble them for you please email me. Thank you!

Your primary mission is recruit a network of operatives working throughout the country; failing that, eliminating the other networks which are interfering with your own would allow you to build your network without interference. When first recruited, agents are face-down and inactive (sleeper agents); later in the game, they may be activated to perform some task (active agents). The unqualified term ‘agents’ applies to both active and sleeper agents. Tiles in hand or the bag are merely tiles, bribes and blackmail material which can be used to recruit agents.

November 28 , 2011: Discounts!
I've found two ways to avoid the abusive paypal fees. One is sending the money as a personal transfer. The other is using 'Mass Payment'.
So I can make a discount of up to 1 € per game by using one of these. If you wish to benefit from this please email me instead of placing an order directly on my site, as I'll use a separate account.
I've added this information to my 'orders' page on my site, too.
Thx!

Passersby watch the scene for a moment, then smile, charmed by these four people idling away their time. Hnefatafl is one of numerous games in the greater Tafl family of board games, hearkening back to the time of the Vikings. Hnefatafl is a game of uneven sides. In every game of the greater Tafl family of board games, you have a king plus a 2:1 ratio of invaders to defenders.
Although strong evidence for the setup of the board and pieces can be found, there are numerous reconstructions of the rules. Nonetheless, there is a good degree of consistency in the interpretations and translations, so nestorgames proudly presents a Viking classic that will fit in your pocket.
The vikings are made of 8mm thick laser-cut acrylic (black and translucent white).

A game for 1 to 10 players by Ben Stanley.
In the ironically mean game of NYSE, you and up to nine other players compete as investment bankers playing the New York Stock Exchange to make more money than anyone else. As you claim stock holdings in chemicals (blue), technology (black), fossil fuels (red), and foodstuffs (green), the value of those holdings increase as a result of the demand. But beware of speculative markets, because a market bust, intentionally caused by one of the other players, could drop the value of all of your holdings to nothing!
November 17 , 2010: New game added - Momentum
A board game for 2 to 3 players by Phil Leduc .
Momentum is a dynamic abstract strategy board game for 2 or 3 players in which the lead swings back and forth like the steel spheres of Newton’s cradle. Grabbing the lead and holding onto it is the challenge.
Players take turns dropping one of their eight pieces onto a square 7x7 game board (also 7x9 or 9x9). The momentum of the dropped piece is transferred in up to eight (orthogonal and diagonal) directions through adjacent contiguous lines of pieces. The last piece at the end of each of these lines is pushed away one cell from the dropped marble. Some fall off the board and are returned to the owning players.
The first player to have all eight of his or her pieces on the board at the end of his or her turn wins the game.
Special price until Nov-24-2010 is 14 € instead of 17€!

September 2 , 2010: New game added - OMEGA
A board game for 2 to 4 players by Néstor Romeral Andrés.
OMEGA was born as an experiment on complexity and intuitive arithmetic. Both concepts teamed up to create this little monster. It feels like a cross between Hex and Go. In OMEGA, players try to create groups of their colors by placing stones in a hexagonal grid, in order to score the most points. But each player places stones of all colors in play. The final score for each color is calculated by multiplying the sizes of the different groups of that color.
Components:
- OMEGA board (hexagonal grid of 10 hexes per side. 2 pads).
- 6 ‘corners’ to configure the board size and shape.
- 136 white stones (player A), 136 black stones (player B), 91 red stones (player C) and 68 blue stones (player D).

A strategy board game for 2 players by Mark Engelberg.
Meet the Snorkels, the friendly aliens from Deneb Gamma IV. One player will control the green Snorkels, and the other player will control the purple Snorkels. Each turn, you place one of your Snorkel pieces on the board. Snorkels never move once they are placed. Each Snorkel has four breathing tubes coming out of its body. If all of its tubes get blocked by the walls at the edge of the board or by enemy Snorkels, it passes out from lack of air and gets captured by the enemy. The first player to be captured loses the game.
A common practice among Go educators, especially those who work with kids, is to begin by teaching a somewhat simpler variant of Go known as The Capture Game. Snorkels is an adaptation of The capture game by Mark Engelberg, who will donate his share of the proceeds to the American Go Foundation.

Originally published in 1892. Updated rules, board designand variants by Daniel Danzer (2010)
Colorito was first published in London, 1892. To the new genre of boardgames with the final goal to cross the board with the pieces (established by Halma in 1883), the unknown author added two crucial elements: Numbered pieces and two colours per player. Colorito became popular enough to be one of Anastasias (youngest daughter of the last Czar) favourite leisure activities at about 1915.
The original rules were researched at the British Library for this edition and now you can play this truly unique abstract again - with two added variants. Colorito has a light feeling, but enough depth to be a challenge for experienced gamers.

Each player is given 19 tiles in three sizes. As the game progresses, it gets more difficult to play the larger tiles. However, the game ends when one player cannot make a move, so forcing a quick end by having no playable tiles left may be an advantage.
